holding onto the thought of us feels like

talking to a rock, and wondering why it won’t answer back,

trying a hundred keys and still failing to open up the lock

it’s like a flood in the middle of a desert,

or like a hundred feelings one can’t assert

it can be punching a wall, hoping it won’t cause you pain

or wishing that you will not get your feet wet in a pouring rain

here’s my story

what is one thing that is common about the main characters in a tv series, a movie, and a book? right. they all had their downfalls. and what do these characters do about it? they either fight to live, or surrender to their fear. i’m pretty sure everyone has faced a battle, not once, not twice, but countless of times already; and others are still continuing to face one each and every single day. it isn’t that easy to win. sometimes you have to earn bruises and scars to get through. it might get pretty draining, but that’s what makes you stronger. that’s how you will learn your lesson. tough, i know, but that’s just how life goes. you wake up, face a new day, and just manage to get through it. it’s a never ending cycle, it’s something that we can’t change. now, we are going to dig a little bit deeper. in this post, i’m going to share something that i’ve never told anyone else before in hopes of reaching to those who had, or are having, the same experience as me. here’s my story on how i fought depression.
